We’ve upgraded the version of WordPress that this site runs on from 1.5 to 2.01.
Please let us know if you notice any problems.
We’ve got a new logo, thanks to volunteer Brian Robison. We’ll incorporate it and associated colors into the website… soon!
It’s a little confusing, but there are distinct differences between being a USMTA:
Registered User (Allows you to add comments to the blog posts here).
Email list subscriber (You’ll receive alerts via email.)
Member (You join the USMTA by submitting your contact information to us.)
As of today we have 23 users and 64 email subscribers. I’ll check with […]
We now have a membership form on the Membership page.
Membership categories are:
individual member (free)
sustaining member ($)
Once we get your info, we’ll be in touch.
We’ve added a Committees page to the site, with details on these committees:
Directory committee
Club resource committee
Publicity committee
Trials Expo committee
We’re temporarily using a canned WordPress template for the sitestyle/theme while we get the more important pieces of the site in place. Boring, I know.
So don’t get your eyeballs too attached to this blue/gray/white theme. It’ll change.
In the meantime, learn how to do splatters. It’s not boring.
We’ve added a section to the sidebar: eSubscriptions.
You can use a newsreader to subscribe to our RSS feed.
Or you can subscribe to our USMTA e-announcement list and get an occasional email alerting you to recent posts to this weblog. This is what the form looks like:
We’ve added a section to the sidebar, listing the USMTA’s founding member organizations and the links to their websites.
We’ve added a Contact Us page, an About Us page, and a Membership Page. Those pages are all accessible via the sidebar.
Watch for blog posts from the USMTA executive committee… real soon now.

We (Wigley and Associates) will be gradually be putting up the rest of the site over the next month or so.
